As of now, fidget spinners are predominantly being made in the West – specifically in the United States and United Kingdom. A few are wondering whether China could look to capitalize on the growing market, but so far there’s not much sign of them doing so.
However, if the fidget spinner industry remains strong then it would be no surprise to see China get in on the act, producing the spinners in bulk at much lower costs. The dangers of this are that it could push small start-up Etsy sellers out of business and see a general deterioration in the quality of fidget spinners.
